The Base-Load Staples Are Often The Weak Link in Our Local Food Supply

We Are Addressing This Problem Head On!

You’ve made the effort to get your fresh fruit and vegetables from the local farmers markets, but we often find ourselves sourcing our grains etc from stores which have brought these products in from large distances, even overseas…

This is the weak link in our local diet with which we wish to support our health, food security, community and environment

Grain production is often very destructive, coming from bare soil production. With agroforestry grown grains you can be rest assured that your diet is also looking after the environment.

Agroforestry grown grains are fully regenerative - building soil carbon and increasing biodiversity all the while providing highly nutritious food to local consumers. Agroforestry systems are highly resilient and especially drought tolerant, plus they provide regenerative employment solutions where others can learn these methods, paving the way for generations to come.

“Syntropia” is a 20 acre site on the Gold Coast, in South East Queensland. This is a brand new enterprise based on 6 years of full time R&D at “Gabalah Syntropic Farm”. We are very happy with the results and are now ready to take agroforestry to the community!
